Hydraulic Systems

Hydraulic systems in robotics use pressurized fluids to generate motion and force, enabling robots to perform powerful and precise movements. They are commonly used in applications that require high strength and load capacity, such as construction, disaster response, and humanoid robots designed for heavy-duty tasks. Hydraulic actuators convert fluid pressure into mechanical motion, allowing smooth, continuous control of joints and limbs. While hydraulics provide superior power-to-weight performance compared to electric systems, they are typically more complex, heavier, and require careful maintenance to prevent leaks and overheating.
