The EPFL Laboratory of Intelligent Systems (LIS) is a research group at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland that studies autonomous systems, robotics, and artificial intelligence. Led by Professor Dario Floreano, the lab focuses on bio-inspired robotics, evolutionary algorithms, and adaptive systems that can learn and evolve in real-world environments. LIS conducts research on aerial and soft robotics, swarm intelligence, and machine learning.
