Archetype AI Introduces ‘ChatGPT but for Physical Reality’ Model

Archetype AI is a Palo Alto-based startup founded in 2023 that’s building what it calls “physical AI”-solutions for the real world. Their flagship model, Newton, fuses real-time sensor data (cameras, radars, temperature, accelerometers, etc.) and natural-language interfaces to let users ask open-ended questions about physical spaces and behaviors. The company has raised about US$13 million in seed funding and is backed by investors such as Venrock, Amazon’s Industrial Innovation Fund, and Hitachi Ventures.
