Shenzhen Okaf Technology Co. is boasting its new robotic security dog that’s built for extreme circumstances.
The company just unveiled its OK-Go5 bionic quadruped robot with enhanced AI-powered surveillance, gas sensing, and thermal imaging capabilities. It’s intended for law enforcement, emergency response, and industrial monitoring.
The Go5 runs up to 5 m/s, climbs 45-degree angles, and can hold up to 120 kg. Its moving payload capacity is 30 kg. It has 12 degrees of freedom (DoF), with 12 aluminum alloy precision joint motors.
The quadrupedal robot’s four solid-state LiDAR sensors provide 360-degree, ultra-wide visibility, even in no-light conditions. Its infrared vision perceives up to 100 meters.
The Go5 can operate autonomously, follow a set path, or by remote control. The robot transmits data on gas concentration and AI-detected events to mobile devices and command centers. Voice recognition is also supported.
While the security bot’s battery life lasts between 2.5 and 4 hours per charge, its AI monitoring ball machine operates for 6+ hours. Dual TF card slots support up to 512 GB each for storage.
